Indications

Tetramisole Hydrochloride 600mg Pills are used for the prevention and treatment of parasitic diseases of ruminants (cattle, sheep and goats) caused by roundworms and schistosomes.

Tetramisole Hydrochloride 600mg Pills is also indicated in poultry for use against roundworms and capillary nematodes.
Tetramisole Hydrochloride 600mg Pills is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic effective against both adult and larval stages of the following parasites: blood spear nematodes, Ostracoda, Trichuris trichiura, Cooper's nematode, Endocardia, Hook-and-mouth nematodes, filarial nematodes, roundworms, hairy tailed porcine nematodes, and hairy-headed whipworms. Due to its activity against the larval stage, it is also effective against blood spear nematodes and hairy roundworms.

Usage and Dosage

Oral Administration.

Tetramisole Hydrochloride 600mg pills may be administered orally by mixing into the feed without the animal having any difficulty in swallowing.

Cattle, sheep and goats

Use 1 pill per 40 kg of body weight, mixed into the feed.

Poultry:
Use 1 pill per 6 - 12 kg of body weight, mixed in the feed.

Precautions

Do not overdose.

Contraindicated during pregnancy, especially during the first 45 days of pregnancy.
Prolonged continuous use may lead to drug resistance and cross-resistance.

Meat: 3 days

Milk: 1 day
