- Antimicrobial
- Appearance
- White or yellowish transparent liquid.
- Ingredients
- 100 mg of enrofloxacin per ml.
- Indications
- For the treatment of livestock and poultry diseases caused by sensitive bacterial and mycoplasma infections, such as Escherichia coli disease, Salmonellosis, Pasteurella, Actinobacillus pleuropneumonia, mastitis, Mycoplasma pneumonia and so on.
- Usage and dosage
- intramuscular injection. One-time dose.
Pigs, cattle, goats and sheep: 0.025 ml per kg body weight;
Dogs, cats and rabbits: 0.025 - 0.05 ml per kg body weight;
2 times a day for 2-3 days.
- side effects
- This product has very low toxicity.
- The main side effects include
- 1. may affect the normal development of bones in young animals, resulting in pain or lameness.
- 2. May cause vomiting, loss of appetite and diarrhea.
- 3. may develop erythema, itching, hives or photosensitivity reactions.
- 4. May occasionally cause allergic or seizure reactions in cats and dogs.
- Precautions
- 1. should not be used in horses and dogs under 8 weeks of age.
- 2. Transient irritation after intramuscular injection.
- 3. It should be used with caution in epileptic dogs as it may have an excitatory effect on the central nervous system and induce epilepsy.
- 4. Occasionally may cause crystalluria, therefore caution should be exercised in livestock with renal insufficiency.
