Amoxicillin Sodium for Injection
Escherichia coli disease, Salmonellosis, Fowl cholera, Chicken dysentery, Salpingitis.
Contraindications
Animals with severe renal impairment should not use this medication.
Concurrent use with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides, or lincosamides is contraindicated.
Adverse Reactions
Some livestock may experience allergic reactions, such as edema, although this is relatively rare.
Dosage and Administration
For intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. For livestock, administer 5-10 mg of amoxicillin per kilogram of body weight once daily; or 10-20 mg per kilogram of body weight every other day.
Withdrawal Period
Slaughter: 28 days; Milk: 7 days; Eggs: 7 days.
